Mouse models of cancer-associated thrombosis

Cancer patients have an increased risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE) compared with
the general population. Mouse models are used to better understand the mechanisms of
cancer-associated thrombosis. Several mouse models of cancer-associated thrombosis
have been developed that use different mouse strains, tumors, tumor sites and thrombosis
